For those of our readers who are fans of the Kardashian family, there will likely be a new “made for TV” storyline to be played out on the next season of their reality show. On one season, the family dealt with Kim’s romance and marriage to New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries. The next season, they dealt with her divorce and burgeoning romance to hip-hop artist Kanye West.
The show has also followed the turbulent relationship between Kourtney Kardashian and boyfriend Scott Disick, as well as the romance between Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom. Suffice it to say, relationship drama is a continuing theme on the show.
With that in mind, it comes as no surprise that Kris and Bruce Jenner are experiencing a rift in their relationship. The couple publicly announced that they were separating after 22 years of marriage (although rumors had been swirling about their breakup for months). According to a number of media reports, Bruce has moved out of the family home and is living in Malibu. The couple released a statement last year explaining that they will always remain good friends and that they are happier living apart at the moment and will continue to make their family a top priority.
Aside from the rumors regarding fidelity and potential future mates, arguably the most interesting aspect of the story is the couple’s fortune, which is estimated at more than $120 million. The couple does not have a prenuptial agreement, as most of their money has been made during the course of their marriage. It remains to be seen whether they will attempt to settle their differences before a divorce petition is filed.
